TechRadar

Stylish over-ear headphones that simply cost too much

from TechRadar
Bose has created a worthy addition to its line of well-constructed headphones, balancing comfort, features and performance well. My biggest problem with the SoundTrue isn't the sound performance, it's the price, which places it within a bracket of competition it simply can't hold its own against. However, if style is your biggest concern, there's a lot to enjoy here. You'll also be buying into a set of headphones that's ultra-light and knows a thing or two about pumping out some sufficient sound... Full review

Full, natural sound for all your music

from Sound Vision Review
The SoundTrue from Bose shows how completely stress free you can enjoy your on-the-go music. In addition to the exceptional comfort it succeeds by confidently play a whole range of music styles. This is a headphone you will lay aside reluctantly... Full review

Good choice considering its ability its output and comfortable design

from The Mobile Indian
Bose is itself a renowned brand but at about Rs 13,000, many in India would think before purchasing this. The Bose SoundTrue, undoubtedly, is a superb headphone vis-a-vis its sound output. However, compatibility issues and lack of noise cancellation do hampers its cause a bit. In a nutshell, if you are a music enthusiast and listen to music for a long hours, then Bose SoundTrue is definitely a good choice considering its ability its output and comfortable design... They’re super comfortable and lightweight to wear, easy to carry around

from UnleashThePhones

The Bose SoundTrue On-Ears are a nice, relatively affordable pair of headphones that come in a decent set of colors which add a bit more personality to the Bose headphone lineup.

They’re super comfortable and lightweight to wear, easy to carry around (with a case included), and the overall sound quality is clean and crisp, sounding authentic enough to keep even purists happy. To be honest, the only thing I didnt like about the SoundTrue, was the weak build quality, and that they leaked a bit of sound.

At $180, the Bose SoundTrue On-Ear headphones are a bit pricey... Full review

PC Magazine

A no-nonsense, music-only pair with few bells or whistles

from PC Magazine
Bose gets knocked by audio purists quite a bit, but the SoundTrue is a strong offering in this price range. Unlike most of Bose's premium products, there's no added special feature like noise cancellation. These are headphones, plain and simple. And if you like crisp highs, rich lows, and an exceedingly comfortable fit, they won't disappoint. It's impressive for a low-cost pair. If you're looking for solid-performing, distortion-free, lightweight, travel-friendly headphones in this price range, the SoundTrue is certainly worth your attention... Full review
Chip Chick

Very realistic sounding audio with crisp highs

from Chip Chick
In the end, the Bose SoundTrue headphones is a nice and relatively affordable addition to the traditional Bose black and silver headphones. The new colors add a bit of personality to Bose’s lineup, but are still conservative enough to not alienate Bose purists. They are also super lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The overall sound is clean and crisp too, and we really appreciate how authentic everything sounds... Full review
Sound Guys

Great sounding headphones that you can wear literally all day

from Sound Guys

To paraphrase an old whiskey ad, the Bose SoundTrue Around-ear headphones sound expensive, and they are. These retail for $179.95, and for a pair of headphones that lacks Bluetooth connectivity and most other bells and whistles, this may be enough to put some people off. That said, if you lay down the cash for these, chances are slim that you’ll be disappointed.

There are two major factors that make the Bose SoundTrue headphones an easy recommendation: the sound quality and how comfortable they are. If you’re a basshead who needs massively hyped low end or a professional... Full review
