Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Ace 3, an entry-level addition to the Galaxy family. The device has basic specs: 4-inch (800 x 480) display, front and rear cameras, 1 or 1.2 GHz dual-core processors and 3G and LTE variants. Notwithstanding the underwhelming innards, Samsung has managed to cram in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and the latest Samsung-exclusive software additions like S Translator, S Voice, and Smart Stay into this affordable phone. Samsung has not announced pricing and specific availability of the device.
What Else You Need To Know
- The 3G model comes with a 3 GB internal memory, of which only 1.7 GB is usable -- thus the phone owner would have to purchase a microSD card to expand memory by up to 64GB.
- Samsung has profusely expanded its Galaxy range, announcing in recent weeks two new Galaxy Tab 3 devices, the Galaxy S4 active, and the Galaxy S4 mini.
