Here are two new videos for you RIM aficionados out there waiting for more details regarding the new Storm 2 to surface.

In this first video, we get to see side-by-side comparisons between the upcoming Storm 2 and the current BlackBerry 9530 Storm, but more importantly, the new technology called Piezo which is used into its new display is further explained. This basically gets rid of the whole sinking screen mechanism, and replaces it with a new display that not only provides a tactile fee, but even manages to replicate the sensation of actually pressing one. It’s a pretty neat technology, and we’re pretty sure this will become a major selling point as far as this new Storm is concerned.

The next one is just a continuation of his review of the Storm 2, and as you’ll probably notice by now, he loves what RIM has done with the second iteration of their full touchscreen handset.

Furthermore, he also confirms what we’ve already previously heard, and that’s the BlackBerry 9520 will be the GSM version of the Storm 2 headed for AT&T and possibly Rogers in Canada while the 9550 is the CDMA variant for Verizon. Likewise, WiFi is official on-board as well. Unfortunately, details are still pretty scarce as far as its release is concerned, but rest assured, we’ll report on it once details are made available.
