Just recently, we heard that the Motorola Calgary Android phone will be ready to debut on Verizon in Q4. Now, we get a first look at what could be Verizon's next Motorola Android handset, the Motorola Sholes.
Courtesy of Motofan.ru, this new Moto Android phone is expected to come with a 3.7-inch 480x854 touchscreen display, 5-megapixel autofocus camera, WiFi, CDMA/EVDO Rev. A connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, 256MB RAM, and 512MB internal storage expandable via microSD card (up to 16GB). The Motorola Sholes is scheduled to hit the US market via Verizon in October and will apparently ship with an 8GB microSD card included. Price, unfortunately, wasn’t included in the report.
However, considering how refined and more business-like this looks from the Android offerings available now, we won’t be completely shocked if this Motorola handset is priced a bit on the expensive side if and when it does get released on Verizon later this year.
