Expansys is certainly no stranger when it comes to listing upcoming handsets on their website even before they’re officially announced, and that’s exactly what they’ve done just recently with Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA “Rachael” touchscreen phone.

Understandably, there’s no price or availability date mentioned in the listing, but they do, however, reveal some of this new XPERIA phone’s drool-worthy specs. Dubbed as the XPERIA X3, this QWERTY-less mobile phone features a generously-sized 4-inch 800x400 touchscreen display, 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, smile shutter, image stabilization and face detection, quad-band GSM/EDGE, dual-band 3G (900/2100MHz), 10Mbps HSDPA/2Mbps HSUPA connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, mini-USB port, 3.5mm AV connector, and microSDHC card support. Its OS wasn't mentioned, but based on earlier reports, it should run on Android with a Sony Ericsson GUI overlay on top of it.

So far, everything looks to be really enticing, and all we're waiting for now is for Sony Ericsson to officially announce this XPERIA phone. Likewise, it would be a crying shame if this baby didn’t get outfitted with the right 3G bands for use in the North American region. For more info, you can check it out here.
