The HTC Magic has been available in Canada via Rogers since the start of this month. Now, it has finally been announced in the US by T-Mobile.
As previously reported, it will neither be sold as the HTC Magic nor the T-Mobile G2, but will be available for retail as the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. Interested buyers can start to pre-order HTC's latest Android phone beginning July 8. The actual units, however, will only start to trickle in towards the latter part of July with nationwide availability happening in the early part of August. As far as pricing goes, you can snag yourself one for $199.99 on a 2-year contract.
Admittedly, the T-Mobile myTouch 3G will be debuting in the US a little late as compared to other countries, but as the saying goes, it’s better late than never.
