Frequent users of Google on a PC or Mac may have grown accustomed to their Product Search feature, but for the most part, that function wasn’t available on popular mobile internet browsing devices such as the iPhone or Android phone.
That was until today. Google has now launched their Product Search service on both the Android OS and iPhone. So don’t be surprised when you type in a product name when you search in Google that a list of Shopping results will now also be included in your search results. Likewise, you can browse Shopping Results by price, product rating, store or brand.

The Google Product Search for mobile, unfortunately, is only available in the US and UK, but is, nonetheless, a good start. We’ll hopefully see it roll out to other regions and platforms as well as the months go by.
