We’re still not quite sure what the BlackBerry Storm 2 will feature, but if this latest rumor is true, it could come with WiFi support. This is based on the information provided by an unnamed source of SlashGear who they trust enough to come out with this story. It was also disclosed that there are more treats on the way though nothing specific was mentioned. Could it be a higher megapixel camera? Well, we can only hope for now. Anyway, this WiFi support rumor is, at the end of the day, still a rumor so don’t get too excited about it just yet.
If you can recall, the BlackBerry Storm was mentioned as part of Rogers' 2009 RIM offerings so it could just be a GSM-version of the current Storm touchscreen phone. Either way, we should get official details on the Storm 2 in September when it's expected to be announced.
