Radio Shack apparently got the boot from Apple and Walmart is now in as one of its partner retail stores who will offer the 3G iPhone starting November 15.

This is according to some insider news, but nothing is definite until we see the 3G iPhone in Walmart stores come November. If everything pushes through according to plan, together with Best Buy, Walmart will make the iPhone available across the nation and more accessible to customers who don’t want to head on over to an Apple or AT&T store.

While visibility and availability may have been addressed by this latest move, I doubt that sticking to its current retail price and subscription tie-up will increase sales, especially considering that people are more wary of their expenses during these trying economic times. How about a price cut for a change?
