We’ve got some unfortunate news for all those HTC Touch HD fans out there. HTC has announced via Twitter that the HTC Touch HD will not make it to the US.
HTC stated that making any changes to its current configuration to accommodate US 3G will take too much time, and suggest you should wait for the next round of products to be released. Of course you can always buy it from other sources, but considering how many products are being released almost every other month, I think it’s a good idea to wait things out until the 1st batch of devices are released in 2009.
Take this latest announcement from HTC as a sign that the Touch HD wasn’t really meant to be, and that there’s a bunch of better products out there for you in the North American region. However, looking at its beautiful 480x800 WVGA display only makes you wonder, is there anything better than the Touch HD? I’ll be the first to reassure you that in the world of technology and gadgets, there’s definitely something better out there. It’s just a matter of having the patience to wait for it.
