Fring now available via App Store for iPhone

While there have been multi-IM apps available via the App Store for some time now, none have been able to provide a VoIP solution.

Thank goodness that Fring has finally decided to release their well-known multi-IM, VoIP app for the App Store.

Those not familiar with Fring will be happy to know that aside from being compatible with the iPhone, it also works with a variety of other smartphone devices, including Nokia and Windows Mobile-operated phones.

It easily integrates with other IM apps too, such as Yahoo, Twitter, Google Talk, AIM and Skype. While VoIP calls are only limited to WiFi connections, the other IM features will most likely work with on other existing data connections. Best of all, unlike BeeJive, it’s free.

I've personally tried Fring out on a Nokia, HTC, and a jailbroken iPod Touch and it's the one app that I've been waiting for through the App Store. This is one nifty little piece of software that will definitely keep you connected at all times.
