HTC Tilt users who have been itching to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1 can finally do so as the company has released the official update. This is, of course, for AT&T customers only, so it won’t work if you managed to get yours from other resources.
Some of the new features you can expect from this new iteration are video share calling, threaded SMS, remote desktop monitor, MS voice command, and OneNote Mobile to name a few. Just remember that upgrading to Windows Mobile 6.1 will erase all the data on your phone so back-up your Tilt before going any further. It’s a rather big file sized at 88MB, but if you’re ready and sure that you want to update your current OS, then there’s no better time than now to start downloading.
