Emporia Life Plus for Older People

Emporia’s cellphone for the elderly boasts a huge screen and huge buttons but somehow managed to be slightly fashionable. The Life Plus phone is a slider phone and a world phone to boot. It can send and receive SMS and since this phone is for the elderly, the manufacturer did away with the multimedia features in exchange for a red panic button and a built-in flashlight. The Life Plus battery can give the user 3 hours of talk time at a single charge. I wonder whether the short battery life isn’t due to the fact that this phone vibrates extra hard when there is a call. Via
