What's even more popular than the popular Sony EriK880csson Cyber-shot phones. Why, the Sony Ericsson Walkman Phones of course. And what can be more popular than the Walkman Phone? Barring the Apple iPhone that has yet to be shipped, the only logical answer is a slimmer, sleeker Walkman Phone, the existence of which we have hinted about just a month ago.

The 9.4 mm thick W880 is not only the slimmest among Walkman Phones, it's also the slimmest Sony Ericsson phone so far. It will come with a 1GB Memory Stick Micro, which will not quite hold 1000 music tracks but it's close enough. There's indeed a camera on this phone and it's not bad at 2.0 MP, considering the size of the package. Picture blogging is possible on this device, which also comes with an RSS feeder (we'll see how the Chinese will use this phone when the non-3G version, the W888, reaches their shores). The clincher, however, is the 18 hours of music playing, which immediately forced a ShinyShiny.tv reviewer to cross her fingers.

The W610, though not as slim as the W880, will come out with impressive features as well, among which is a 2.0 MP camera, 512MB Memory Stick Micro, TrackID so you won't have to file unknown music as "unknown," picture blogging capabilities and 25 hours of music. Don't take it from me, here's my source.
