Not as controversial as the antennagate issue hounding the iPhone 4, there’s another problem Apple has to resolve, and it has something to do with their new iOS 4 firmware and the now outdated iPhone 3G.

3g-iphoneApparently, upgrading to the latest iOS firmware has negative results on the iPhone 3G. Common complaints include a shorter battery life and a dip in performance both of which are major headaches for any iPhone user out there. Not to worry though as it appears that word has already gotten to Apple about this problem, and they’re reportedly investigating the issue right as we speak. This is according to The Wall Street Journal who got word from an Apple spokesperson that they’re already aware of the situation and they’re doing something about it already.

We don’t know when the appropriate fix will be made available, but hopefully, they’ll be able to figure things out much sooner than later so they can include it in iOS 4.1 update they’re currently working on right now.
