According to Korea IT Times, Samsung will be launching the newest Android phone, the Galaxy S, simultaneously in 110 countries across the globe.

Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000

We’re not sure if Canada made it to the list since they did not mention all the 110 countries in the report, but given that Samsung is a preferred mobile phone brand in the country, it’s more likely than not that it will be part of the global launch for the Samsung Galaxy S. We don’t know yet though when this will happen, but a good estimate would be sometime later this month or early next month.

To help better acquaint everyone with this new Samsung handset, the Samsung Galaxy S (GT-i9000) is the company’s latest Android flagship device. It boasts of a 4-inch AMOLED 800x480 resolution touchscreen, 5-megapixel AF rear camera capable of 720p HD recording @ 30fps, VGA front-facing camera, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR support, WiFi, HSPA connectivity, a 1GHz processor, Android 2.1 as its OS, and will be available in 8GB and 16GB variants
