Motorola has officially entered the Android market in Korea with the announcement of the MOTOROI.

MOTOROI

If this touchscreen phone looks familiar, that’s because it’s basically a Korean version of the Motorola XT701 aka Motorola Sholes Tablet we talked about last December. Most of its features are the same with the one currently being offered in China, but ups the ante with an 8-megapixel camera, and like most phones in Korea, also comes with a T-DMB tuner for mobile TV viewing. The MOTOROI also supports multitouch capabilities in its web browser just like its QWERTY-equipped Motorola Milestone twin.

The MOTOROI is expected to be launched on SK Telecom early next month, and more importantly, gives us hope that this 3.7-inch touchscreen beauty will become available elsewhere.
