HTC One X successor codenamed Endeavor C2, coming in October
TechRadar

The HTC One X is already set for an update, and it will arrive in the form of a similar-looking handset codenamed the Endeavor C2 or simply the HTC One X+, according to exclusive info scooped up by the gang over at Stuff Magazine. Evidently, HTC doesn't want to mess up a good thing so it is keeping the design of the HTC One X which is available now and just injecting improvements all around. Included in the list of upgrades are the following: a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, longer battery life, onboard ClearVoice technology and improved video-on-demand service, plus free UrBeats earphones in every package. It will even be released in more color options than the One X. It is expected to arrive some time in October of this year.

What Else You Need To Know:

- The One X is HTC's currently flagship smartphone and is one of the top handsets available in the market today.

- Given that the rumored HTC One X successor, the HTC One X+, is going to be released later in the year, there is a good chance that it will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed.

- There is a bit of speculation going on about how the HTC One X+ could be the top-secret HTC device with a 5-inch screen that became a news item recently.

This is all a rumor at this point, but since it’s pretty clear that HTC is working on an enhanced One X, we don’t see any reason for the Taiwanese company to launch that just in the US and just on one carrier.
