Despite their faults, the Skullcandy Indy true wireless earbuds are a solid pair of true wireless earbuds. They're not the best in any one category out of all of the products we've tested, but they hold their own in basically all categories. The IP55 sweatproof rating, good fit, and solid isolation make these great for anyone looking for a pair of 'buds that won't fall out easily.

Very good value for money

from Gadget Guy

I would have liked a little more work on the case, making it easier to properly seat the earphones and making it easier to get them out. But that aside, the Skullcandy Indy earphones were practical, and provide a good musical experience, all at a remarkable price.

The sound quality for the price is very good and you will be impressed I just wish Skullcandy would improve little things and get rid of the cheap plastic and you could very easily increase the price. The fact you get Bluetooth 5.0 and they are IP55 rated they are nice touches by Skullcandy and for under £100 these are well worth considering for those looking for a budget alternative to the airpods.

They easily beat their own, slightly expensive cousin, the Skullcandy Push in most departments, including audio and design. Yes, they have a few issues but they draw inspiration from and sometimes even come from to the AirPods in terms of design, functions, and features. The fact that their price is almost half that of Apple’s iconic wireless earbuds makes them perhaps the best option for those who want something like the AirPods but do not have the budget for it.

Middling sound quality and poor connectivity.

At $180, the Skullcandy Indy earbuds are one of the cheapestn options in market right now. At $180, the Skullcandy Indy earbuds are one of the cheapestn options in market right now. They're well designed, well-fitting, and they sport a neat case but audio snobs may be turned off by their lack of sound finesse and unstable bluetooth. For the bottom rung of the wireless earbud market, you can't expect absolute bangers, and they are perfectly serviceable for the less discerning.

Impressive audio at an affordable price

from Tech Guide

The Skullcandy Indy earphones are affordable, offer a secure fit, wireless convenience and really punch above their weight when it comes to audio quality.

If you’re a bass-lover looking for versatile truly wireless in-ears that you can wear while working out, on the bus, or even at the office, then get the Skullcandy Indy. Clear sound, comfortable to wear

from KnowTechie

There are some trade-offs but you’d expect that for the price. One minor quibble is that the Indy only remembers one Bluetooth device, so if you’re a frequent device-hopper, this might not be the set of TWS earbuds for you. For anyone else, the $70 asking price is a pretty good deal.

Digit

Quite a decent buy

from Digit

These truly wireless earphones definitely look good and offer a comfortable fit, especially with the stability gels on, however, the sound quality is quite disappointing. Despite the lacking sound quality, the Indy does offer plentiful features at an affordable price point, such as touch or gesture controls, which the AirPods do not.

AirPods on a budget

from NDTV

The Skullcandy Indy might come across as a promising alternative to the Apple AirPods at first glance, but doesn't quite live up to the mark in practice. The sound has some good qualities, but isn't quite as comfortable and pleasing as we'd have liked.
