from The Wirecutter

Comfortable, great sounding, fantastic for phone calls, and equipped with all the controls you need, the Elite 65t is the first set of true wireless headphones we’d recommend over traditional Bluetooth earbuds.

As far as we can tell, that extra connection and the verified Skype for Business certification are the main points of difference between the models, which we’re not necessarily sure makes the earphones twice the price. If you rely on Skype for business calls and other phone calls, that might make a difference, though there’s also a case to be made for using Bluetooth to do it through a direct Bluetooth connection, not necessarily through the USB dongle itself.

For business people who spend a lot of time on the phone

I don’t object to the default sound profile for two reasons. One is that these earphones are targeted at business use, so clarity of the spoken work is the priority. The second is that you can adjust all that with the EQ function. In practice, the earphones proved to be tough, if a little too ready to fall out of my ears. They also delivered decent sound, including a respectable bass performance. My only real problem is, well … $605. Really?

They sound great, block out the outside world (passive noise cancelling) and features decent battery life. As I mentioned I love the ability to connect to 2 devices as I often go between my phone and PC, not having to switch headphones really is a fantastic experience. The UC features is a key selling point for these earbuds over the standard Elite 65t. Unless you’re leveraging these earbuds with Skype, Teams, Hangouts or similar, then it’s a much harder justification of the price.

The Jabra Evolve 65t are decent mixed-usage truly wireless headphones and are a great option for sports as well. They are designed to be a more business-oriented variant of the regular Elite 65t model, including a dongle for PC that improves the microphone performance. Unfortunately, the mic performance isn’t that much better and might not be worth the extra investment. On the upside, they are very portable and block enough ambient noise to be suitable for commuting and office use.
