The Bowers & Wilkins PX5s are an excellent pair of headphones for someone who just wants to listen to music and podcast on their commute without the noisy hustle and bustle. The weak noise cancellation prevents you from achieving something close to full tranquility and emersion in the audio, but there are practical features that negate some of the downsides, such as the clever Wear-Detection Sensor that makes pausing audio for quick interactions completely painless.

Not too big, not too small, just right

from TechRadar

There’s a lot to love about the PX5; they sound great, look fantastic, and support for aptX Adaptive means that latency issues when watching video or playing games is a thing of the past. They’re pretty pricey though, and the noise cancelation could definitely be stronger.

Wireless on-ears impress with aptX Adaptive and ANC

from Pocket-lint

From our brief listening test so far, we can already tell that the active noise cancellation tech used in the PX5 headphones will be good for commutes. And, the audio signature is of typical high Bowers & Wilkins standards.

The PX5 is a well-designed pair of headphones that has a lot to offer. The fit is very comfortable, and the construction is of very high quality, with a rugged design that’s tough enough to last for many years, even if you’re prone to forgetting about your headphones and sitting on them. The sound quality, though, is pretty pedestrian. It’s certainly not bad, but there are a lot better sounding headphones in this price range. That said, the app and customizability are both points in the PX5’s favor, and the stereo quality from the angled drivers offers a sense of space that you won’t get from most other headphones.
