Yes, you’re going to be paying a higher price, but for this kind of premium finish and audio quality, it almost seems worth it.

Sound Guys

Good earbuds with bad execution

from Sound Guys

The Beoplay E8 true wireless earbuds have a great battery life and surprisingly good sound, but the high price and annoying connectivity make it hard to recommend to anyone that doesn't enjoy burning cash.

A great pair of completely wireless earphones

The BeoPlay E8 2.0 will suit all listeners and reward them with great sound quality. But there are longer-lasting and more affordable quality competitors around the corner to mull over too.

The B&O E8 2.0 aren’t a revolutionary product, but the small changes that have been made are generally positive. The upgrade to USB-C and wireless charging are minor but important improvements that make it quick and easy to top up the E8 2.0’s battery. The upgraded stability is another key factor that fixes one of my biggest issues with the originals. Add to this excellent sound quality and the E8 2.0 easily earn themselves a place as one of the best true wireless sets available.

Suffice to say, the B&O Beoplay E8 are the best sounding earphones I’ve heard in this form factor. They’re versatile, simple to operate and sound really, really good.

Premium styling and sound

The Beoplay E8 wireless from B&O Play is one of the best sounding and best designed pairs of wire-free earphones that we've tested, but it does lack in some features and the audio transparency isn't as good as the competition.

G Style Magazine

Nice clean sound

from G Style Magazine

I love the look and feel of the Beoplay E8s. B&O crafted an elegant pair of earbuds with a slick leather case to go alongside it. Sound is good but I felt like for the $299 price tag they could have used a bit more bass and may steer some people away. $200 or less might be more ideal for these buds from B&O.

Soundstage is pretty impressive for these little buds

from MajorHifi

The Beoplay E8 doesn’t get incredibly loud, but raises to a sufficient volume level for my ears. More important, for truly wireless earphones, they sound great.

Got a lot of things right

from The Verge

The E8s look great, they come with a snazzy, compact case, and deliver on sound quality. But if you base expectations off of traditional, relatively trouble-free Bluetooth headphones and earbuds, you will be frustrated by the dropouts.
