Daily Express

Beautiful aesthetics, incredible sound

from Daily Express

The B&O Beoplay H9 is easily the most elegant pair of headphones you can buy right now. Not only do they look the part, but they also offer punchy audio that’s some for the best in its class. Sadly though, these cans don’t match up to the competition when it comes to noise-canceling, comfort and price.

Offers improvements to battery life and adds support for Google Assistant

The B&O Beoplay H9 3rd Gen are enjoyable headphones – but they simply aren’t good enough to justify the cost. Find them on sale, or at significantly under the RRP, though, and you won't go too far wrong

There’s no beating around the bush here. The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H9’s are top notch headphones. Their heavy hitter performance throws them in the ring with the likes of the Bose 700 and the Beats Solo Pro’s, whilst their unique design makes them one of, if not, the best looking headphones on the market. They’re probably a little too bulky for the everyday commute, but their humble profile ensures stylish edge whenever and wherever you wear them.

Pocket-lint

Great sound, now with Google Assistant

from Pocket-lint

As we said of the previous two iterations of the H9 before, it's all too easy to criticise these over-ears for their high price tag. But that would be to ignore the epic sound quality, supreme comfort, lovely build quality, and the notable battery improvement. All said, though, there are better options out there.

TechHive

A stunning refinement to a flagship

from TechHive

The Beoplay H9 marry exquisite design, premium materials, good active noise cancelling, and B&O's signature sound to deliver a flagship headphone worthy of the Danish company's audiophile pedigree.

TechRadar

Better than Beats, but not by much

from TechRadar

The B&O Beoplay H9 are luxury headphones that miss some key marks. Materials, battery life and active noise cancellation are great, but their overwhelming bass, lack of features and high price make them hard to recommend.

Mashable

Sound great, but will cost you a pretty penny

from Mashable

The Beoplay H9 headphones are exactly as advertised, but the price point makes them hard to recommend to non-enthusiasts.
