Android Authority

A solid pair of everyday cans for most people

from Android Authority

If you were a fan of the ATH-M50x headphones, you'll likely like the ATH-M50xBT as well seeing as they're basically the same headphones. They have better Bluetooth codec support than most, a great battery life, and are still durable and portable. While they're not cheap, they're still a great value.

If you're looking to use some wireless headphones at home then these over-ears are an ideal and affordable option for soaking up your favourite tracks while sat on the sofa. It's versatility that arguably lacks compared to some of the pricier competition, as the physical scale and lack of good isolation and noise-cancelling pose some limitations - depending on what you're looking for.

I appreciated the sound profile these created and at times favored them over my Sony XM3s depending on the tracks. There isn’t any noise cancelling but in this case it’s not a deal breaker. To me I felt they could have been more comfortable. Battery life is incredible and the fact I haven’t charged them over the past few weeks says something. For $199.99 these are some of the best I have listened to in this price category in some time and highly recommend you give them a listen.

There’s no doubt the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT wireless headset offers fantastic sound. While I’m no studio professional, these are easily some of the best sounding headphones I’ve tested, especially given the price.

An old standby, updated for wireless listening

If you're looking for no-nonsense Bluetooth headphones that sound great, last forever, and give you the option of wired listening, the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT are the gold-standard of what's on the market today. Sure, they don't look all that flashy, but they're not supposed to be.

Cnet

Wireless monitor-grade headphones for serious music fans

from Cnet

If you're a musician or audio professional, the ATH-M50xBT's flexibility as both a wired and a wireless headphone may be its greatest draw. It offers plenty of midrange clarity and enough bass for use in most environments. It's likable and affordable for a headphone of its type.
