A reliable set of wireless noise-canceling headphones

from Reviewed

For around $300, the ATH-ANC900BT's are an excellent pair of over-ear noise-canceling headphones. They sound robust and full, dampen enough noise for the average traveler, and can go for days without needing a charge. For around $300, the ATH-ANC900BT's are an excellent pair of over-ear noise-canceling headphones. They sound robust and full, dampen enough noise for the average traveler, and can go for days without needing a charge. The included 3.5mm cable for passive listening and carry case are a nice touch, too. If you primarily want long battery life and don't want to worry about essentially programming your headphones before or during use, pick these cans up.

Noise cancelling that competes and exceed the performance of the big boys

from StereoNET

While a pair of AT's latest might cost $100 more than the Bose QC35, the added features such as customisable audio pass-through, 35-hour battery life, and the dedicated listening button, the ATH-ANC900BT is unquestionably worth the few extra bob to be your new travel headphone.

If all you're looking for in a set of noise-cancelling headphones is balanced sound and long battery life, the ATH-ANC900BT is a decent choice. Noise-cancelling and comfort are alright as well. However, headphones have to be good in many more ways, and this pair of cans comes up short in many major regards, namely playback controls. Sound/ANC customization is also missing, and the fact that it doesn't have USB Type-C will make it a non-starter for many of you.

Clean and well-balanced sound with a generous bass

from MajorHifi

Certainly, it’s the strongest noise-cancellation that I’ve ever heard from an Audio-Technica wireless headphone. And the 900BT is very well balanced, which is essential if you listen to a wide variety of genres. Clean sound too.

Pocket-lint

Marvellous noise-cancelling cans

from Pocket-lint

The ANC900BT are lightweight, comfortable, deliver great sound and noise-cancelling smarts with touch-and-swipe controls. They're not quite as pricey as some of the competition - we're thinking Bose QC35 II and BeoPlay H9i - which puts these cans in a very strong position indeed.
