A Great little Phone.

I've heard a lot of my friends say a lot of times "my phone broke, my back button doesn't work, my camera doesn't work, blah blah..." i've had sony ericsson w300i in white for 3.5 years now, and it's about to retire. i'm sad about it because it's never had any of the above problems over the years. i've dropped it, kicked it, stepped on it, and even threw it hard on the cement because i got mad. and the phone still performs like it's brand new. this is a phone designed for people who don't have the need to text 50 times a day, but recently i've been texting a lot, more than 30 texts a day, and the keypad still works great, it's never gotten in my way. pros: music quality is great fast durable user friendly buttons customizable themes great applications (metronone, guitar chords, piano keys) easy to use direction navigation shortcut keys (e.g. camera^, text, and contacts down) call quality and loudness is perfect cons: over time, batteries wear off quite easily camera quality also deteriorates Less

Best Phone I've ever had!!

I love this phone it's easy, simple and reliable. I don't want another type of phone because with so many new ones who knows what kind of issues there are with them. My sister had a Razr and it broke within 4 months and it was new. I have to get a new phone because I washed mine, but i definitely want a W300i Less

Using experience: 19 months I would recommend this phone to anyone who just needs a phone to make calls or text occasionally. I have had no problems with it at all. I don't know how anyone can knock the signal as I am usually the only person getting any signal where I live out in the boondocks! Less

Good phone for the basics

This phone is good for stuff in general, such as calling, taking pictures & videos, etc. It's not a good phone if you want a phone that has all these little trinkets and details, like Bluetooth, etc. Pros: -Good quality picture -Nice battery life -Things like games, mail, etc. -Good for people who ju...More

4th Dead Phone in a year!

Very unhappy with this phone. Rogers (Ugh!) replaced a dead (other brand) with this Piece of @#$% and I have now had to suffer the death of the 4th one. All stopped ringing audibly within 3 to 4 months. Returns to Rogers resulted in them sending me a new one, only to have it fail the same way. IMHO, poor reception, poor clarity, both send and recieve, hard to navigate, lousy contacts management. Never SONY again for me. I don't use the MP3. Less

Takes a beating and keeps on ticking

I've been using this phone for over 2 years. I've been using this phone for over 2 years. It flew out of my pocket and bounced and skidded on the sidewalk on a few occasions while I was running for the bus and I dropped it in the snow at least twice. The plastic casing has a few scratches as a result of it's adventures but it's still working! The battery life is still great. If I don't use it too much it can last at least two weeks without charging. The only problem I have with it are minor such as problems with the memory card sometimes not being detected, and the backing which is really hard to pop open to get at the memory card. Other than that it's a really flawless phone that I wouldn't mind using when I renew my contract. Less

i love this phone

i have been using the Sony Ericsson w300i for 2 and half years now and its in perfect condition... well besides the paint and the scratches and stuff... but that's intirely my fault. even after dropping it so many times it still works perfectly fine. the mp3 player is the best partt =]

I love to have the FM radio on when working at my clients and it works great with my handsfree Jabra SP5050. Battery life is great, but a little less if you keep the Bluetooth option on all the time. Nagivation in the menus is not the best I've seen, but unless you play often with configurations and settings an such you will not mind. I've had a great experience with mine and so have people I know who own the same. Overall : A very good buy. Less
