Mobile Syrup

One of the smallest and lightest phones out there

from Mobile Syrup

f you’re looking for a basic device that can do just a little bit more this is one to consider. The price is certainly right at $15 on a 2-year contract, or, $100 outright through Fido.

Honestly, this has all the basics you need and from what we hear this is selling well at Fido. This slider only weighs a mere 93 grams and when closed is smaller than a credit card. When you slide the device up you’ll notice the keypad, this lights up in blue and is a bit crammed in simply due to its size. Overall dimension of the T303 are 83 x47 x 14.7.

I've had this phone for almost 6 months, and it's kind of like a love-hate relationship. The phone is really easy to figure out, and it didn't take me long before I had all my contacts programmed in. I found the notepad and alarm clock EXTREMELY useful, except for the fact that sometimes the alarm didn't go off at the right time. The texting on the phone is okay once you program it properly. I can text really fast on it, and it didn't take long before I could do that, but ALOT of programming. The one thing that really annoys me about the phone is how slow it is. It went from being fast at loading and texting, to the point where I was typing words out before they appeared on the screen. Talking on the phone is okay. At first I could hear everything clearly and it was almost perfect talking on the phone. Maybe my hearing is damaged or something, but after three months, the volume on the phone got alot lower, and I had to start putting the phone on speaker to even hear anything. I love this phone though, because it is so useful once your use to it. For anyone buying it, do it, but make sure not to drop it! Less

Not horrible but not great

Dont be fooled! This phone is not a mp3 player at all it only holds around 7mb of memory and their is no place for a card to let it hold more. Which means it can only hold one song!! :O This phone is very sturdy though i have dropped it many times and it stil works. The middle button has sort of stopped working for me i have to press it around 5 times every once in a while for it to work. I have had this phone just over a year know and its time for a new one. This phone is good for kids! and its not expensive. Less

Very disapointed!

I would not reccomend this phone anyone, since I got this phone the amount of dropped calls i've had to deal with has skyrocketed. Decent cheap phone

It's still going strong, and there have been no major flaws or problems with it, but I'm now looking for something nicer. The phone is cheap - I got mine for $50 without a plan - and it shows. It's sometimes slow, but great for light users. Pros: -Super small and light, a fantastic size -Quite a good slider -Great battery life, I charge it about once a week (but I turn mine off at night, and don't talk/text a huge amount) -A lot of storage space for texts, I've got at least 300 in my inbox -Very loud ringtone and text noises -The super-reflective screen makes a good mirror Cons: -The buttons are difficult to press when texting -The phone is slow; sometimes it can take 30 seconds to laod my inbox when I first power it up -The texting is also slow; I can type texts faster than it can process what I'm saying, and sometimes it ends up skipping a bunch of letters to catch up to what I'm currently typing -The super-reflective screen can be hard to read outside Overall, a great phone if you don't use it too much, and a sturdy build, but can be frustrating if you're trying to use it a lot. Beauty on the outside, trouble on the inside.

I just purchased this sleek, tiny phone in January. It was bliss - perfect for my (relatively) small hands, a handy mirror front (which, as many have noted, is hard to read in bright lights/outdoors), and an easy-to-use slider. It was bliss - perfect for my (relatively) small hands, a handy mirror front (which, as many have noted, is hard to read in bright lights/outdoors), and an easy-to-use slider. Texting was slow for my taste, but still pretty fair. However, it is a mere 5 months later, and I'm ready to chuck this thing out a window. About 3-4 months in, I noticed it liked to turn itself on "emergency calls only" mode, meaning nothing could be sent or received. At odd times, the signal would drop completely, then jump back to full bars minutes later and these problems can only be possibly be fixed by removing the battery/SIM card, replacing it and starting it up. A Fido rep explained this could be a SIM card problem, or an issue with the phone itself. 10$ later, I find out it's a phone problem. Taking the battery and SIM card out for a cleaning every time this happens is a major inconvenience. I caution anyone with low/little or no patience to STAY AWAY from this little guy. Less

not my fav.

It can take 24 hrs to send and resend a txt. cant see the screen in any day light. the ring tone are loud if you adjust setting. If your looking for a phone just to talk on it will do. Hate this Phone

It's a good phone..

The phone is small, and the ringer is EASY to hear. It's called volume? Try turning it up. I can hear mine from a floor away. If it's on silent the vibrate is horrible, you can barely tell it vibrates. The memory is no big deal, it's called an ipod. It's small and barely stands out in your pocket (I'ts smaller in size then your credit card) The price is steep, but it's worth it. I find texting on it amazing, I can text huge paragraphs easily. I dislike phones with the buttons spread out, it makes it take longer. The buttons are small and right beside each other on this phone. The radio is horrible unless you are right by the broadcasting station. It's a basic phone with some extra things added. The camera is also very good, it's better then most of the camera's I have seen on some phones. I'd give it a 7/10 Less

I like it

I can easily hear my phone when I get a text message or a phone call. Mine seems to have a lot of room as well. I don't put songs on my phone so I guess that is why. Seems to hold a lot of text messages as I am just shy of 300 and I haven't been warned that it is getting full. If you are looking... More
