I bought this phone unlocked because my carrier (Fido) only offers junk phones. It was about $300 but I think it was worth it. Here's why: Pros -Xenon flash - makes it just as useful at a party as a point-and-shoot camera, but it's smaller and lighter, and everyone thinks it's cooler -picture quality (5MP) is great in any circumstance -camera features like panorama (works great), smile shutter, and bestpic are nice add-ons -great design - compact, sturdy, but still attractive and classy -sliding lens cover - protects the lens and flash, looks cool, and makes the phone unique -threaded text messaging - just like the iphone -customizable interface - with SE phones you can download your own screensavers, themes, backgrounds etc. for free -internet browsing - very fast, smooth, and clear on the high quality screen -smart dialing - punch in on the number pad the first few letters of your contact's name from the homescreen and it appears -reliable - has had absolutely no bugs or glitches Cons -no WiFi -keyboard is a little cramped -no front-facing video call camera -red-eye is an issue -SE's proprietary charging/audio port and memory cards are a pain, although apparently this won't be a problem on future handsets Overall, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this phone to anyone. I don't know why SE hasn't released it in more markets, because it's excellent. It has the same user interface and flash as sony ericsson's most expensive camera phones, but for a much cheaper price. This phone's imaging capabilities are better than ANYTHING released from Apple, Palm, Blackberry, and Motorola. If you haven't already bought this phone, and are looking for a mid-range price with great features, buy it now! You won't regret it. Less
