So here comes the end of our review. We certainly had fun with this little baby but it's now time for our ways to part. But before we wrap up, one thing remains: the final words. Our verdict is that Samsung U600 is a very good phone overall. It has its flaws but none of them is too big. On the other hand, it offers no groundbreaking improvements. What we see is evolution rather than revolution. If you are looking for a sleek device with great multimedia capabilities, then Samsung U600 will surely be a strong nomination. In all honesty, the technology freaks are not very likely to go for the U600 purchase because there is a whole bunch of phones brimming with features. Then, the value-for-money buyers would look at the E590 for example, for about 60% of the price. Pretty much everyone else is bound to be attracted by the Samsung's slimmest slider, one way or another. All in all, the charismatic Samsung U600 will bring hours of enjoyable experiences to its owners.

With the launch of the Ultra II series, Samsung has reasserted itself as the king of skinny phones. The U600 represents a good balance of miniaturization and functionality. A couple of updates are welcomed: the improved user interface for the camera and the new adjustable font sizes are all very worthwhile. Adding the Smart Search function, reviving the Image Editor, and keeping the Picsel Viewer are all smart moves.

With hardware that looks unbeatable on paper, Samsung has diminished the potential of the U600 with a couple of obvious issues. A great keypad does not guarantee a good messaging experience because of the new fussy texting system. The ICEpower amplifier could have made the U600 a great music device, but it is limited by their reluctance to build a simple 3.5mm headphone jack adaptor.

We can see with the U600 that Samsung has greatness within its reach, but is not quite there yet. As such, we give the SGH-U600 a "Recommended" rating. Other handsets to consider would include LG KE970, the Nokia 5300, and the Sony Ericsson W910.

Pro: very easy to use, overall great phone Con: fragile screen, crack in it after 1 month, camera is very slow great phone, it looks great and is extremely easy to use, some people say the buttons are too sensitive, but you just got to get used to it and then it is easy to use. the only real bad thing i would say about this phone is the camera, it is slow and because of this you end up with a lot of blurry pics. because people don't like standing still for pictures! but who needs a camera on their phone anyway???? all it needs to do is call people and the occasional text... First of all, I do love the style. Small, compact, and easy to use. However, there aren't any games... How am I going to keep myself amused with no games? Second of all, the camera on it is slow and the pictures always come out blurred. The videos I take have bad quality. You can actually see the pixles... =_=. Lastly, there's not much space. I can only put about 10 songs on it and the videos can only be about 30 seconds long. *Sigh.* But I can live with it. Less
