There are more goodies than you'd expect for a basic feature phone like the Samsung T369
Although new smartphones are raining down every day for major carriers, the prepaid market is one of the fastest-growing segments in the mobile handset industry, and feature phones like the Samsung SGH-T369 for T-Mobile make up the bulk. I bought this phone with one basic need in mind: a slide out keyboard so I could send texts without the frustration of typing on a number pad. Turns out the keyboard on this phone is just as bad. The buttons don't push well, especially the spacebar (sometimes it doesn't click, sometimes it doubles and adds an unwanted period for good measure). The resulting texts are often an incoherent mess. And I don't have fat fingers. Other problems with this phone: -Even when you turn off all sounds, it still makes very quiet blips and bloops when you're clicking through menus. It's impossible to turn off this feature, as far as I can tell. -The camera is so low-quality that you get the sense it's just there to add a few bucks to the sticker price - it's useless. -The software is horribly dated and very poorly designed.Less
