RATING
Based on 5 reviews

The Samsung M330 is a decent, entry-level, two-tone vertical slider with a familiar navigation array and alphanumeric keypad. Offering 6 hours of talk time, the M330 has a camera with 4X digital zoom, SMS, Bluetooth, 16MB of internal memory, 2.5mm headset jack, speakerphone and several other basic features.

Measuring 3.7 x 1.7 x 0.6 the M330 is a standard size, however one might feel a bit cramped interacting with both the alphanumeric keypad or navigation buttons. Small fingers will be a plus.

The M330 has a 2-inch 128 x 160 pixel resolution screen, which is very basic, but fine for texting and text-based tasks.

If you like sliders and don’t want to pay a lot for a new phone, test drive the Samsung M330 and see what you think. As an entry level device it holds its own.

Signal coverage is crappy. I have to get out of the house when I receive a phone call in order to talk, because the signal is almost dead inside. That had not happened to me with previous phones. Text messaging only allows you 50 characters. Two words and pretty much you are done and when you receive a regular size messages it splits them in two, at least, and shows first always the last one. Try reading backwards most of your messages. It looks nice and seems to have all the needed gadgets for a basic phone but if you have problems to talk and to text, what is the good of the rest? Less

Works well

Works well, call quality is okay, I haven't had any problems with the phone unlocking in my pocket, But it has a basic front panel lock (down and then back key press) that could easily be unlocked in a tight pocket. I set up the blue tooth for my hands free speaker, but I had lots of trouble raising the volume on the speakerphone, seems that if I don't raise the ringer volume (from vibrate only mode to at least beep level) of the phone, then my blue-tooth speaker volume stays really low. all other volume settings in the sound menu had no effect on this issue, very strange? Overall I'm happy with it, as far as a pre-paid phone goes its a pretty good quality phone. The rubberized buttons should allow it to last for quite awhile. Battery life is pretty good three to four days on standby for me so far (I'm between 90-150 minutes per month usage, so not a real heavy user! ) Less

Kinda strange....

I was really excited when I first found this phone on the pc mobile demo stand. It was a slider, which was something that I wanted in a phone. However, I have had some problems with the samsung M330. First off, my phone tends to shut off randomly. It could be just the battery dying or the end button being pushed while inside my pocket. Secondly, for some strange reason it will pick a number and call it- only while being in my jean pockets. But I find it strange how this phone can dial a number while there are no numbers to press. Thats just my experience. This phone has a good camera and good sound quality. But in general, I do not think I would own a slider phone again. Less

I know this post was four months ago lol yeee the phone always calls people randomly and its always turing off and on. just recently I happend to drop my phone in a body of water and it has not been working ever since. Ive also tryed putting it in a bowl of rice and i got nothing to work now im taking it apart about to give up i know its old and i will be getting a new one i was just wondering if anyyone knows how to take it apart or any solutions on how to fix the wet phone after being placed in a bowl of rice

Fulfills my Needs

Functions very well... I've enjoyed this Samsung as of yet. Call quality is always fine. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid phone for CALLING and no other fancy tricks.

New cell phone user

As a new user of cell phones, I do wish there would have been an instruction pamphlet included in this purchase. Sorry to say, but there are still some first time users of cell phones! Now I have a phone and dont know how to use it
