The Samsung A746 is a good-looking two-toned flip with a brushed metal finish and defined, contoured edges. The external, monochrome screen displays the time, battery and signal strength.
Inside you’ll find a 2.2 inch, 176 x 220 pixel resolution screen and a familiar alphanumeric keypad.
This little phone packs a full suite of entry-level features, including a 2MP camera with video, MP3 player, WAP browser, 1000 entry address book and microSD memory expandability.
Additional features include voice memo, calendar, scheduler, to-do list, stopwatch and countdown timer. Talk time is rated at three hours and standby time is rated at up to 280 hours.
With the Samsung A746 your can text, MMS, email, instant message and take pictures and video.
While there isn’t anything in particular that makes the A746 stand out in a crowded field, it is nonetheless a well-built device that should appeal to folks looking for a basic phone.
