The Samsung Glyde is an attractive touchscreen with a full Qwerty keypad that slides out horizontally. People who prefer physical keys will appreciate the fairly spacious keypad and everyone will enjoy the 240 x 440 pixel resolution display, which is crisp and easy on the eyes.
The Glyde features a full HTML browser, making surfing the internet far more enjoyable. Other important features include a 2.0MP camera with auto-focus, flash and video, MP3 player that can be accessed with a single touch of the device and microSD memory expandability.
Talk time is rated at 3.5 hours and standby time is rated at 250 hours.
Rounding out the features is Bluetooth, a 2.5mm headset jack, alarm, calendar, stopwatch, 500-name capacity phonebook and speakerphone.
With the Glyde you can text, MMS, record video, take pictures, surf the internet and send/receive email.
Touchscreen fans will want to take a good look at the Samsung Glyde. Make sure you play with the touchscreen, as such interfaces can be a matter of personal taste.
