Samsung Galaxy Mega 2

“Like the original, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 offers a whole lot of phone for a relatively low price. But the Mega 2 is no longer the only big-screen phone in town, and it's not the best value either. Paying $150 for a 6-inch, 720p display was a good deal last year. One year later, with few improvements to write home about, that price doesn't inspire nearly as much excitement. AT&T still offers last year's Galaxy Note 3 for the same $150, and it's got a nearly as large 1080p display and a much more powerful processor. And if you can stretch your budget to $250, the Google Nexus 6 outclasses the Mega 2 in every appreciable way.”

“The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is a considerable upgrade to the Mega 6.3. It offers good performance and comes at a cheaper price tag compared to the Mega 6.3, but the camera is not impressive. At Rs. 20,900, the Mega 2 is slightly costly compared to its direct competitor, the Asus Zenfone 6 that has a better camera. It runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box, but Samsung has not promised Lollipop update for their mid-range devices yet. If you are looking for a large-screen smartphone and can compromise on the price and the camera for the display and the performance, go for it.”
