Critic consensus
“Budget phones are all about cutting the right corners and making compromises where they don’t count. The processor is definitely not one of those aspects. The slower Galaxy M32 isn’t a bad-performing phone, but it lags behind the competition at this price. While the phone has a promising combination of a good screen, battery and build, it falls behind on aspects like an outdated processor and slower storage and charger. The phone offers a 4GB/64GB variant for a starting price of Rs 14,999. Meanwhile, the higher variant at Rs 16,999 is closer to a phone like the Poco X3 Pro, which offers a much faster flagship chip than the Helio G80.”
“Samsung has tried to deliver a decent budget phone with the Galaxy M32. While it brings a great AMOLED screen, fairly reliable cameras, and a big 6000mAh battery, the company has made a few crucial compromises to deem this phone the absolute best of its kind. From the mediocre Helio G80 chipset, plastic build quality, to the lackluster single speaker setup, the Galaxy M32 fails to achieve perfection.”
“All in all, the Galaxy M32’s price tag helps it stand out from everything else that Samsung is offering right now in the sub-$250 segment. I only wish Samsung had used a better processor so the performance wasn’t so bad. Still, for what the M32 costs you, you’re getting plenty of good stuff, and you could do a lot worse. You know, like getting the horribly priced Galaxy A32 instead.”
“The Samsung Galaxy M32 falls under Rs 15,000 price segment, which is an overcrowded space including a bunch of great all-rounder phones including the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the Poco M3 Pro 5G, the Realme 8 5G, among others. The Samsung phone is a decent option to consider if you are looking for a phone to watch back to back Netflix/ Amazon Prime shows and movies. In addition to the gorgeous display and decent design, Samsung Galaxy M32 offers long-lasting battery life. It lasted for more than a day for me, which is impressive.”
