Critic consensus
“Despite its low price, it's a tough one to recommend when you have the Realme 3 selling for the same amount of cash. You will have to live with an underpowered SoC, average battery life, no fingerprint reader, no ambient light sensor, a bit sluggish menu navigation from time to time and a quiet, rear-facing loudspeaker. Also, the face unlock is really slow and unreliable so it's not an adequate alternative to the good old fingerprint scanner.”
“If all you want is a well-built, modern-looking phone that does the basics, the Galaxy M10 is a surprisingly solid option. The Samsung Experience interface is functional, smooth enough, and has a plethora of options to tweak it to your preferences. For anyone looking for a bit more grunt in the hardware department, you might be better served by Xiaomi or Realme’s phones.”
“The excellent battery life is a result of two big letdowns the HD+ resolution screen and the dated SoC. While the shape and dimensions of the screen give this phone its modern look, the quality isn't quite as good as we'd have liked. Furthermore, performance on this device is below average, and the camera doesn't achieve a lot beyond its key feature of ultra-wide-angle photography.”
“The Samsung Galaxy M10 is a good upgrade over Samsung’s previous budget phone and it has a considerable number of upgrades, except for the chipset, obviously. But still, this is the company’s best effort so far. They’re really trying to listen to the customers. We had been saying from a long ago that they needed to improve their budget and mid-range sector. And now, they are trying to listen.”
