amsung's Galaxy A7 is to be a mainstream smartphone, but it is also to satisfy even somewhat higher demands at the same time. Samsung masters this balancing act quite well: The high-quality casing is pleasant to hold, and its plain, classy looks let us forget the Korean manufacturer's design gaffes of the past.

Fresh new design
The Galaxy A7 is something fresh from Samsung. Focus has been given to improve it’s design and build, two areas where they have been criticized for in the past. Overall the handset is something you would expect from a Note 4 Neo version if there was one. Sure it doesn’t have a stylus but it does have a beautiful large screen, good battery life and unlike the Neo’s in the past, there is no compromise on the design. Good performance, excellent design
The phablet will turn plenty heads with its slender, light but rigid metal frame and beautiful 5.5" Super AMOLED screen. Then some of those heads will sag a little when they see it's the familiar Galaxy picture drawn with more expensive paints. They will hang lower still when they find out that the internal hardware is closer to a midrange device rather than the high-muscle silicon inside the excellent Galaxy Note 4.
