Critic consensus
“Unfortunately, we weren't thrilled by the performance of the device, which was significantly below our expectations. The software, other than being riddled with bloatware, just seemed unoptimized for this hardware. Other things that didn't impress were the shrill single speaker at the bottom and the slow fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy A50s is a fine choice for someone wanting a Samsung smartphone specifically. However, we think there are better value choices available in this price range.”
“Samsung Galaxy A50s doesn’t look like a definitive update to the Galaxy A50 and is more of an incremental upgrade. A large focus here has gone into bringing the 48MP camera to the A-series.”
“The latest A50s that carries few improvements both in and out fits the billperfectly offering a stylish design along with capable internals. But, there are few flaws, which we assume will be fixed with future software updates.”
“The phone is elegant, is very comfortable to wield, and brandishes valuable Samsung branding. Also, we saw some significant improvement in the software running on the phone. That said, when it comes to raw performance it falls short of online exclusive options like Realme XT and Redmi K20. And the camera, though not being a dealbreaker, doesn’t really give it an edge.”
