I like Samsung F406 and i really grate and good but the Mobile TV can not re-open and i dont no why

Samsung F406

So far it's ok. Two things that annoy me are the battery life is not that long. My old phone I could go like 5 to 6 days without charging. This one is needing charging every 2-3 days. Also, on the hands free speaker, the sound is extremely tinny!! I like the phone but am still getting used to it!

Honestly, I'm pretty happy with this phone. I do have the voicemail notification issue occasionally that others have mentioned but I can get over that. I do miss the voice dialing I had on my old phone but that's my fault for not remembering to check for that feature. The one thing that is driving me NUTS is that there is no apostrophe in the library for texting! In any input mode! I know that grammar and spelling have gotten to be pretty loose with texting but I just can't bring myself to drop that apostrophe. UGH! Otherwise, my calls have great clarity and I love the sound of the speaker. I never miss a call because I didn't hear the phone way down in the bottom of my purse. Less

Faggy pink/purple

TO be honest, had I known I would be unable to change the gay pink/purple screen I wouldn't have bought the phone. I'm beyond irritated at this color. That being said, The speakers are awesome. I am having a lot of problems when the phone is plugged into my computer, where it tells me it's unable to do anything other media crap. I am hearing a lot about taking off roger's media player because it already has it's own player. Could somebody please elaborate on this program, where I might locate it in the phone and how i might use it instead. Great design, great sound, seems like a great phone... ....Minus the faggy purple pink crap... I think I'm going to drill out my eyes. Less

For one the voicemail alert will go away if you restart the phone its not that hard to do and it nothing compared to some really bad phones these days. The theme may not be changeable but i got used to it after a week or so. I enjoy the phone for a couple of reasons. Great music player... well the built in player not roger music player. audio is great for a phone. calls are clear and never drop or cut out in anyway. the ability to set a ringtone and vibration is a plus. The only thing i ever was wondering about was the bluetooth. I tryed to headsets and they didnt work. it might have been compatibility but who knows when i know more on that i will comment. Great phone if you can get passed the small stuff. As for the voice mail number people talk about....Call Rogers they can help. Less

I got this phone about two weeks ago, after waiting for a new phone from Rogers since DECEMBER 28!. That was an ordeal in and of itself, but a topic for a different forum... The phone looks great, and has a sweet feel to it. Unfortunately, like other people have mentioned, I was unable to edit the voicemail number, and had to put the SIM back in my old phone to change it. As well, I bought a 4GB micro SD card for it, and transferred a bunch of MP3s on to it. The Rogers' supplied Java music app worked great for about 4 hours, but then I kept getting a "Bad Dynamic Heaps Object" error. I have no idea what that means, and neither do the techies at Rogers, or the techies at Samsung.... I spent literally two hours on the phone with those guys, and the end result is that they are sending me a replacement phone, to see if that fixes the problem. I will post an update when I get a chance to try the new phone... Hopefully it won't take 6 weeks for my replacement to arrive, unlike the original.... Aside from the quirks and glitches, it seems like this has the potential to be a great phone. My last phone was a Samsung X-426, and I absolutely loved it, which is why I went Samsung this time around again. I'm gonna give them one more chance. Let's hope that the phones they are shipping now have had their glitches fixed up...... Less

If you're looking for a modern "cell phone" and not a mobile professional digital camcorder/camera/ PC that walks and talks, does the thinking for you and finds your way back home if you're lost say somewhere in Zimbabwe.... then this is IT. Very modern styling, practical and functional. What else do you need? Music may be? Well, your ears will enjoy the Bang and Olufsen sound quality just because they make quality stuff. You have a user friendly menu that is very well thought of, hek, it even got a tip calculator in case you got drunk and forgot how much to tip the waiter. I visited all the major cell phone carriers in the Montreal region and Rogers had what I was looking for. I'm not a tech savvy person nor a suit on the go to carry a blackberry to text, IM or email constantly so this phone fit the bill right away for me. I have this phone for over a month now and have no complains so far and can say I'm very satisfied with it. Just go get it, Samsung usually makes good products and this one is a proof coming from a real user. Hope I helped. Less

solid phone

So far I' enjoying the phone but I have 1 problem. When I down my usb cord to my computer I always get an error when installing the 7th driver and can never connect my phone to my cpu. Does anyone know what the problem could be? other then that I got no complaints.
