Long term realtionship!
My parents gave me that samsung 6 years ago... and it still works like the day I unpacked it! I still can't believe it, though. It fell into snow, onto wood floors and rocks and has numerous scratches on it, but it works perfectly. I plan on keeping until the day it seperates into halfs in my hands, which doesn't seem to be happening soon. All of the apps are still perfect and texting is not such a problem (I'm used to push three times the *5* button to get an *L*). So hipster, don't you think?Less
I have had this phone almost 3 years. Actually, I still have 3 more months left till the end of my contract. Suddenly for no apparent reason, it crashed. Now...it just vibrates....it doesn't even open until searching service provider.....phones are so not reliable these days. Now I have to shop for another one.....not in the mood.Less
This cell phone lasted me almost for three years until recently. I was answering a call from someone in a middle of texting someone else and suddenly it crashes. Ive tried doing multiple things like turning off the phone and taking out the battery but it still loads only until a certain point. I only have 3 months left of my plan but I still hope Telus will be kind enough to help fix it or give me a replacement phone.Less

serisously don't buy it, its the worst phone i've ever had it always freezes and whenever i text people it sends them like a trillion duplicates, it has like no memory and the picture quality sucks i never figured out how to put music on and ive had it for over a year. i'd say the only good thing about it is its indistructable ive dropped it so many times you don't even know i kinda just wish it would break so that my parents would get me a new phone..Less

This phone sucks!!!! And telus is greedy!!!!
I've had this phone for less that a year and it craps out a freezes all the time!!! I can't call, I can't do anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went in to get a new one for free and telus told me they won't get anything out of giving me a new one so i said well you'll keep me as a consumer. So I laughed and walked out and said "i'm leaving telus!!!" So i'm swiching to bell or someone else!!!!!!!Less
Annoying phone and Telus sucks =(
This phone was so pretty and cute when I first got it and then everything went downhill pretty much within 1 year of me getting it. I take care of my cellphones very well, and I've never had to have one serviced before this one. One of the lights went out in the keypad and the little circular pads in the screens 4 corners were falling out. So I sent it in to Telus to get it repaired and less than 6 months later, both things broke again. But since that was past my 1 yr warranty, they told me "too bad, can't fix it now". Then it started doing weird things like freezing when people would call me at the same time I was texting. Then I would lose the text and the call and I would have no idea who called me because it wouldn't show up in the call history. In order to reset it, I would have to pull the battery out. Also, I had crap reception pretty much everywhere... my apartment, the parking lot of my building, my parent's house, my cabin... basically anywhere there was a roof. I thought it was just the network, but I got a new cellphone and I have reception everywhere that I didn't before. Then the phone stopped receiving text messages properly. It would only buzz/alert me occasionally when a new message would come in, or else it would go straight to my inbox and I would have to constantly check my inbox to see if I got anything new. Plus all my friends said they would recieve duplicates of my texts, yet they don't seem to get that now with my cellphone. Phone calls started dropping everywhere (including an open field in the middle of a city once.. wth...) and my signal faded 24/7. Battery life started to go within 1.5yrs and sometimes I had no idea if it was fully charged because the "charging" icon never stopped blinking. The pink color doesn't take dings or chips well, they really show. The outside "touch" buttons are not sensitive enough at all to be that useful, I never used them much after the first month of trying. The mp3 player is okay but between that and using it for actual phone purposes, the battery would die easily in just a couple days. If you want an mp3 player, invest in an iPod. Internet access is HORRIBLE, don't EVER try using this thing for the internet. Camera quality is kinda shitty, but if you email yourself the pics off your phone, it turns out not too shabby on computer. Pros: -small enough for purses & pockets -large keypad for texting -cute & pretty, you will get comments -easy navigation Also: TELUS WILL SUCK AS MUCH MONEY OUT OF YOU AS POSSIBLE! I am on a 3-yr contract, and I was 1.5yrs in, and they would do NOTHING for me even though clearly my phone was not functional AND it had been sent for repairs. Even when I threatened to leave to Rogers and end my contract, they knew they could offer me just enough of discount to make it cheaper to buy a new phone than ending my contract, yet I still had to renew. I'm so royally pissed off at Telus right now, and they seem to do this to me every time... I haven't been able to escape a Telus contract in over 8yrs... they are absolutely little sh~ts about that. The only plus to Telus is that their reception is very good out West (yet horrible out East) and they are very willing to tweak your plan so you pay less, no matter what it is you want or when you do it. Plus the "perks" are nice.Less
