The 90Hz Fluid AMOLED is gorgeous, the handset is blink-and-you'll-miss-it fast, and the 30W Warp Charging is unmatched. However, there are...

At the moment it is still a bit of a risk to import one for two reasons — the ghost touches are still not fixed entirely (they are better than they were at this stage though) and the camera is not ultra-premium smartphone quality. The 90Hz Fluid AMOLED is gorgeous, the handset is blink-and-you'll-miss-it fast, and the 30W Warp Charging is unmatched. However, there are other areas where the OnePlus 7 Pro isn't quite on the same level as similarly priced rivals like the Samsung Galaxy S10e and iPhone XR – there's no wireless charging, no expandable storage, no adjustable bokeh blur in Portrait Mode, no IP Rating for water resistance... the list goes on.

OnePlus have been hard at work working on these bugs and even if they only manage to fix the ghost touches this phone makes a very compelling case for buying it.

There are a couple of niggles including the lack of wireless charging and this is a very big device that definitely won't suit all pockets.

The high refresh rate combined with the OLED display technology really puts it over the top. On top of that, this phone is fast. Everything about the performance on this device feels snappy. The camera is pretty good, even if it's not the best, and I really love Zen Mode.

OnePlus are no longer the flagship killer! While the OnePlus 7 Pro is relatively cheaper compared to Samsung Galaxy S10 series and the iPhone XS series, this is one of the steepest increases of all in OnePlus’ history. With OnePlus 7 Pro, the company has entered the premium phones business and so have their prices. If OnePlus 7 is a good phone for its price, then OnePlus 7 Pro is just a good phone. Dot.
