ive got the blueline version and my mom had it before me and my brother had it before her and the only thing ive changed is a slimmer battery but otherwise this is a great phone. Mom got a new phone(the reason I got it) and i can get reception in stores and moms new one can't.

One of the greatest

one of the greatest phones even compared to some of the current ones. sure, it may not look so great or have that many features, but it sure does have great reception. even better than some of the new phones out there.

Long in the tooth, but gets the job done!

This is the "draft horse" of cell phones! This has been my and only cell phone since Sept., 1998. It has never needed repairs, or a new battery (I keep it on the car charger when not in use). I have never lost, dropped or missed calls due to poor reception. I have used through out Quebec and in many parts of Manitoba with equal success. Granted that most people to-day would find it too large and very short on features, but if all one needs is an honest-to-goodness, reliable and almost undistructable c-phone, this is it. Those of you who want to get a phone for the "old folks" or a spare for when your "bells and whistles" gives up then this is worth the hunt. And I you're wondering what great service provider I have, well it is @#%^! Rogers. But that is another whole issue. Less
