Samsung is one of the most activate supporters of Android given that they’re probably second to HTC as the phone maker that has the most number of Android devices in the market today. Now, we have a preview of one of their upcoming Android handsets, the Samsung i5800/i5801.

Samsung i5800/i5801 Android 2.1 phone

It runs on Android 2.1, and comes with 3G connectivity complemented by WiFi. It also features a 3.5mm jack and a microSD card for additional storage. Its touchscreen display size and resolution aren’t confirmed yet (240x480 or 320x480), but it’s possible that it’s sporting an AMOLED display.

Word is that it might be launched as the Samsung Galaxy 3, but there's no evidence to support this just yet.
