Nokia has sent invites for a press event in New York City on July 11th. The invite features a magnifying glass with the tagline "Zoom. Reinvented" and an offer to "see more from Nokia" inside the lens, hinting that Nokia's prepping a high-end phone with a more robust camera. Nokia has not divulged other details but there are talks that Nokia's officially launching the EOS Windows Phone. The Nokia EOS is expected to tout an eye-popping 41MP PureView camera.
What Else You Need To Know
- Aside from the high-end camera, the Nokia EOS is rumored to feature a 4.5-inch OLED screen capable of delivering a 768 x 1280 pixel resolution, wireless charging, and 32GB of internal storage.
- Leaked images claim that the Nokia EOS appears almost identical to the already released Lumia 920 although the upcoming model appears to be thinner and taller.
- Nokia's existing devices such as the Lumia 920, 925, and 928 already use the PureView brand but Nokia has yet to release a Windows Phone with the same 41-MP camera that was on last year's 808 PureView Symbian smartphone.
