Pro: Looks nice, has good reception when working Con: Just about everything else Alright, this phone sucks. That's the summary. Details: My dad and I got these for work phones in his business, looking for something relatively inexpensive with a camera to allow for on-the-job documentation of details at the worksite without having to have a second piece of equipment. 1. Battery life is lower than normal. I have a personal Kyocera that lasts twice as long, with or without talking. 2. Picture quality is blurry, and often too dark or bright, and sometimes grainy. I have a bachelor's degree in a field that requires me to know my way around photographic equipment, and I'll make allowances for it being a phone with a camera rather than just a camera. 3. I and my dad are each on our 4th NEW phones of this style in two months. These were the biggest mistake in our communications network we've ever made. Each phone between the two of us has had a different problem: a. turning itself off b. turning itself to silent c. freezing on startup d. losing signal (only three bars outside the Alltell store) e. failing to charge even with a brand-new charger in the store f. resetting itself to defaults every hour or so g. battery heating up when charging (as in nearly painful-hot), and this is my current one We're trying to get different phones, but we've been told that we have to go through eight new phones EACH in order to qualify to change to a different model, even though a store employee confided to me that he sees dozens of these phones back in each week with problems similar to and in addition to the ones already listed. He said this model should be taken back to the drawing board. In my opinion, while it looks nice, and sure it's lightweight and has a camera, the trouble this phone has caused doesn't even make it worthwhile with a price tag of free, because we've spent over six hours in the store we got these trying to get all these problems taken care of, and it's not over yet. The style is very slick, was easy to work, BUT...... the battery life, and the charger did not work so I had to get a new ones. Then this happened, the phone itself died! That means even if you do charge it, it wont work! So then I got another one. This one worked, but later on I got the LG Chocolate. This phone is good enough for your first phones. It's not high tech but it's simple. In a good way. This phone is a little over a 2 years old, so in some stores, you may not see it. I highly recommend this phone if it's your first cell phone. Less

Pro: good signal pretty much everywhere Con: horrible battery life, horrible camera, no great features I got this phone 2 years ago, and I have hated it since the second day. Oh sure, it looks great when you're in the store and buying it, but, eventually, you hate it. First off, its battery life, is just horrible. I mean HORRIBLE! And it gets worse over time as you charge it more often, its just plain annoying. And the sound it makes when its dying, oh geez, its SO loud and SO annoying, and theres no way to turn it off. Secondly, the camera, is a piece of ****. Its blurry, you can only store like 20 photos because theres like 50 really bad graphic photos that come with the phone that you can't delete no matter what. Theres no flash, its a horrible camera. The feautres are just awful, bad ringtones, no games. The only good part about the phone that I can vouch is that it has a good signal pretty much everywhere, you can get a signal upstate where no one else can, and all that. But for some reaosn I think its just Verizon, not the phone. Also, the phone is pretty small and if you drop it or it gets wet, chances are it'll still work fine. Personally, I'm telling you, DO NOT GET THIS PHONE. Less

Everyone's Said It Already...

I'm going to sum this up here and now: look at the phone, consider it, then move on. It's NOT worth your time/aggravation. So, I've had this phone for 18 months now. I'm going to sum this up here and now: look at the phone, consider it, then move on. It's NOT worth your time/aggravation. So, I've had this phone for 18 months now. It was my first phone, and it worked very well at the start (but then, I'd expect a brand new phone to do that). At this point, I am done with the phone. I have always used it for when people need to get in touch with me/to make plans for the weekend/so that I can get in touch with others. It will die in 2 days if I don't charge it, assuming I make 2, 2 minute calls (I don't need to socialize the crap out of my phone). It simply can not keep up with me anymore. The biggest Problem with this phone, IMHO, is the fact that when I put it in my pocket, it will shut off, sometimes. It's sorta like flipping a coin. Maybe it will, maybe it won't, but the fun doesn't stop there. If I put it down on the counter, shuts off. If I place it in my backpack, shuts off. If I look at it too much, shuts off. At least it doesn't shut off when I'm in call... Pretty freakin' durable. I have dropped this thing countless times, and it still SORTA keeps on working. I answered the 'design/performance/features' section according to my usage (I REALLY don't need a freakin' camera on my phone). The average is not representative of my satisfaction with the phone, which is about a 2-3. I am shopping for another phone (willing to spend up to $500 to get a phone that FREAKIN' works right all the time). Less

We are so unlucky to have TWO of these phones. It has NEVER charged right, but definately declined fast, from charging poorly to not charging at all, and these phones DO not hold a charge to even get us through a work day. We spend so much time trying to get these phones charged. We are having the same problem with both phones and have wasted so much time and money on new chargers, batteries, repair services to no avail. I had my battery replaced, and we sent our other phone in to be repaired. IT was gone for over a month. We got it back, and it still doesn't charge. IT IS the design of the charger that is the problem, it wasn't something we did. Motorola customer support acted as if they had never heard of this happening before, which CAN NOT be true. I asked several times for a different model of a phone, even if it was the cheapest version they had, I just need something that will charge!! They can not expect me to dish out hundreds more for new phones!! But they just offered to repair the phones, not understanding, or acknowlegeing that it was not in need of repair that the entire model was junk even if they sent me a brand new one I WOULD NOT WANT IT. SIMPLY: DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE - IT IS WORTHLESS They do make a USB port phone now that is suppose to be much better. But I wouldn't know personally, as I am stuck with two phones on two new $20 chargers and neither is charging enough to even turn the things on. Less

So I went back to my dealer in October 06, they replaced my phone for 45 dollars, it worked fine until about 2 months ago and then it started doing the same thing the first one was doing. It didn't want to charge.. I wouldn't get this phone, it has an awful two prong charger, it has a crappy camera. It doesn't always ring when you have an incoming phone call. I don't know how many times I'd be standing there holding my phone and It would ring telling me I'd have a voice mail but had not rung to tell me someone was calling... Less

No need to write a long, drawn out review. In short, I have had this phone for exactly one year so far and it has been babied. It can no longer hold a charge, the ability to store multiple numebrs a a single name doesn't exist, and the useability is fairly lame.
