It doesn''t look like much compared to current models but basically - it worked and worked well for me on Verizon for over 2 years. Voice Recognition dialing for only 20 numbers worked FAIRLY well after trained to my voice (&accent). Smallish monochrome screen generally allowed for only part of phone directory names to be displayed, but I did get great reception at home here in AZ and roaming in eastern NC with few exceptions over the 2 yrs. Never ran over phone as did several who reviewed here but it was dropped - repeatedly - with no apparent negative effects. Battery charge life a bit mediocre - 350 hours standby? Never - though that probably worsened with age of the battery - though I don''t think I ever had to replace it. Good basic phone. Less

It Stinks

Had this phone for about a year, and had to get rid of it. Reception is horrible....I would only have One bar in places where friend's cells were getting 4 or 5 bars. Phone would go in to Analog in Digital areas constantly. Not impressed with this little guy at all :-(

At least it works...

Sound quality is tinny and the menu isn't user friendly and looks ugly... but at least it works - unlike fancier and nicer phones I've had from Samsung and Sanyo. I don't care about tinny sound or an outdated design as much as I care about the ability to make and take calls. The ring tones are also nothing special. Less

Ive had my Motorola V120x for a year now and anyone who talks bad about this phone is insane ive left it out in the rain dropped it hundreds of times and ran it over... twice and the only thing i had 2 do was get a new faceplate. The battery life runs about 2 days with constant text messaging and conversations. The ringtones are loud enough to be heard with my stereo turned all the way up! All of the calls have sounded great with the exception to my trip in the mountains. like the title says this phone is built like a tank you couldnt give me a different phone Less

solid phone

I like how solid this phone was. I wasn't happy with the service reception though. Mind you my dad ran it over with a truck. It busted the display. But the phone still worked. I kept on useing it its now 7 months old and the battery sucks.
