Great phone

from Yahoo
Pro: Easy to use, looks great, great quality, reception is great. Con: Nothing I've always had a Samsung, but after using the V3xx there is nothing else better. My Samsung was good but this one is just as good or even better.

I suggest a better phone

This phone was to be my stand by phone until Iphone releases its 3G version, but I feel I will keep it until the end of my contract. It serves my purpose - Making calls . good call quality, audible,no issues with signal and reception. Got 1 bar when I was in elevator and call did not get disconnected. - Battery life . I allow it to discharge almost to 5% then charge it back to 100%. Battery stays for 2 days with minimal usage and close to day and half with lot of usage (only calls, no browsing). - Appearance and interface is very much improved and looks good. I have been a loyal amazon customer for close to two years, had no issues with any of my orders. On time delivery. Some issues I had were - Transferring phone book. Used a software from internet to transfer from my contacts from Outlook to Phone memory. - No CD or handsfree along with the product. Need to get it seperately. - very glossy, so need to clean it sometimes to remove fingerprints. All in all a really good phone with required features. Less

My screen was broken on mine and this was the best way to replace it. However I have found that the phone when flipped up is very loose and the battery was damaged. Apart from that the delivery was very good.

V3xx - an enhanced Razr

from eBay
The phone has a crisp screen, and a high color contrast. Easy to read texts. High speed data. Not bad for a midline phone. If only it could work as it is on Verizon.

This is a super upgrade for the razr fan. It has a qvga display which is awesome and far better quality over the razr, better 1.3 megapixel camera w/8 times zoom. This razr has true voice recognition, no more recording your voice and only having 20 names you can save in the phone. You can dial by name, digits, and call any and all in your phone. They did make the mistake of reversing the back and ok soft keys, but easy to get used too, and i've had an original razr for some time. They got smart and disabled the outside keys when flip is closed, no more accidently putting it in silent or other mode to miss a call. The V3xx will allow you to get to your address book, save a phone number (create contact) while on a call, another plus. it also has more room for info storage in contacts, e-mail addresses, notes among other stuff, very handy. It also has micro sd storage, making it FAR more storage capable then the original razr, and it has 60meg in the phone itself, far more than the regular razr. If your looking to upgrade, this is the perfect phone I feel, and the only thing that the newest V9 has that this don't is the large virtual touch outside screen. Save yourself some cash and get this one. it is a bit longer, and the camera is offset slightly, not in direct center like the regular razr. Upon research, the V3xx also has a 900mah battery, the regular razr only has 710mah, thus more battery life. Done the experiment of putting the V3xx battery into the regular razr and they made sure it don't fit, although the old razr's battery fits right into the V3xx, I guess they don't want to sell the better batteries for the old razr. It does have some quite a few of what I call the stupid ringtones that are locked and undeletable, but the couple of themes that it has are pretty nice. As far as signal quality goes, it's as superior as any phone i've had, and i've had quite a few, and for those of you that don't know it already, in ... Less

The camera is greatly improved too. The buttons are just the same, but overall it feels like a much more solidly built phone. If you are on the three network and want a flip style phone it is worth a look. Less
