The Motorola i867 is a unique Android handset because it works with the two-way radio like Push-to-Talk (PTT) network known as iDEN which is popular with field workers like those in construction.
It comes in the candybar form factor but has an octagonal shape. It measures 13mm thick yet only weighs 129 grams. This is mostly due to the fact that it is fairly compact, boasting a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, 3MP camera with 4x digital zoom, and stereo speakers. It also has GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB connectivity, and support for microSD cards.
Advanced smartphone users may find the i867s feature-set and Android 2.1 operating system off-putting, but if you’re after a good PTT handset that’s also got a bit of smarts, this might very well be the handset you've been searching for.
