The Droid 2 Global handset is powered by a 1.2GHz processor, offers improved touch screen technology enabling greater accuracy and, as for being “global”, is a quad-band phone allowing users to place calls to over 200 countries.
Other sweet features include a 5MP camera with auto focus and dual-LED flash, Wi-Fi, a thinner and improved slide-out QWERTY keyboard, mobile hot spot capabilities , 8GB of internal memory along with a preinstalled 8GB microSD card (expandable to 32GB).
The Droid 2 Global combines fun and business with integrated Google, Exchange, Facebook and Myspace, and comes loaded with Quickoffice so you can view and edit documents on the go.
Now about that processor. Anyone who has used a Droid phone knows that the 1GHz CPU is crazy fast, so the idea of a 1.2GHz CPU means even more speed and the ability to run larger apps. The Droid 2 Global sounds like a handset to watch, and judging by the rest of Motorola’s Droid line, we won’t be disappointed.
