Motorola c370 review

5.9/10 AVG.
RATING

5.9/10
Informr score
The Motorola c370 currently has an Informr score of 5.9 out of 10. This score is based on our evaluation of 24 sources including reviews from users and the web's most trusted critics.

A conventional open-face handset with a bright color screen and a host of the latest features, the c370 is designed for a wide North American audience. Motorola knows that features and specs sell phones, but with this model they appear to have adopted a strategy of maximizing the secondary features while avoiding potentially expensive components, like high-end color displays or digital cameras, that would drive up the unit cost.

The c370's display is a middle-of-the-line 4096-color LCD: fine for most situations, and good for gaming, but which washes out under bright interior lights or direct sunlight. In contrast, high-profile but lower-cost features are closer to the cutting edge: Java support for games and wireless applications, the latest Web browsing technology, MMS support, and GPRS high-speed data transfer using a mini-USB port.

Naturally, the c370 allows you freedom to customize themes, desktop wallpaper, screen savers and polyphonic ringtones, and includes all the standard minor features like voice dial, vibrate, and alarm. Front and back faceplates are both removable, so expect a wide selection of OEM and aftermarket styles to become available.

Glad to be getting rid of it...

This phone sucks. Most of the time I felt like a cast member of Zoolander with such a tiny device attached to my ear. This phone sucks. Most of the time I felt like a cast member of Zoolander with such a tiny device attached to my ear. Because the volume on this phone is so terrible...I usually ended up with a sore ear. Reception was awful. Even in open areas, it sounded like UFOs were intercepting the call. What else is needed in a phone really, if you can't talk on it or hear from it, what's the point? Less

Just a phone

I''ve had mine about 2 and a half years, since my last one got recalled. Reception is mediocer, and the buttons are really close together, but it can take a lot. I''ve dropped it at least 20-30 times and it still works just as well as it did the day I bought it. Less

Okay Phone... Not Great

I''ve had this phone for about two years now. I love it. I''ve dropped it many times... Very rugged. Graphics could be better, but it''s a phone not a video game. Love the ringtones, and the faceplates available.

I would not advise anyone to get this phone

First of all this phone is a piece of.....you know the rest. Reception is horrible. Sometimes you can hear the person on the other end but they can''t hear you. Phone has dropped too many calls. The graphics and screen savers can be better but hey..this is a cheap phone you get what you pay for.

I won''t be keeping this one

The reception on this phone is horrible. You can''t hear very well on it. Games are outdated. Graphics aren''t state of the art. You are definitely getting what you pay for! This phone has repeatedly shut off in the middle of conversations and just whenever it feels like it. I don''t recommend it!

Ok except you can't hear anything

OK phone, but the volume sucks. If you have a quiet vehicle or want to talk on a cell phone at a funeral probably not a bad choice but otherwise don't even buy it as a replacement.

I dont really like it at all

This phone is very small, so tiny that I can barely push the buttons on it. If you like a phone with volume that you can only hear when your at a funeral, then this is a great phone for you.

Awesome

I love this phone..it''s great. I live where you can barely get any service but with this phone all I need is one stick of service and there is no static! Wow that''s amazing.. the thing i hate about it though is THERES NO EFFING FACEPLATES. grrr i want one so bad... and yeh its pretty small so it gets...More

Wow that''s amazing.. the thing i hate about it though is THERES NO EFFING FACEPLATES. grrr i want one so bad... and yeh its pretty small so it gets annoying after a while, and i also dont like how the exit and select buttons are opposite that of other phones.. so when i go to use another cell phone, i press the wrong buttons cos i`m used to myne lol..but i love its features and how colored it is and stuff.. so overrall it''s a great phone!! durable, great signal

This is the best phone I have ever owned. I live in an area with a poor signal, and this phone works great at home. I used to always buy Nokia. Now I can't believe I put up with their bad signal for all those years. My only beef on the C370 is that some menu options are very hard to find. Oh, and t...More

I would buy another one of these phones. Sell me your old one so I can have a spare !! Less

Big improvement over C333

Good basic phone. Cute ringtones. Color is always better to look at than grey. My question to those people who didn't like the phone...why buy something you know you won't like.
